BBK Header install issue 98 Cobra

Hello, I have searched the threads and I seem to be the only one who has ran into this issue.

I am currently installing BBK part number 1532 on a 1998 Cobra.

The issue I am running into is the drivers side emission tube on the OEM manifold sticks up between port number one and two. the BBK header points straight forward on tube #1.
I have found no adapter for this and the stainless steel line would be impossible to bend into place. What is the solution for this?

That is the secondary air injection tube. I just installed Kooks headers and deleted the SAI system when I did the installation.

Yea delete it and cap off the port on the header.

I ran a set of JBA shorty headers and had the gas tubes on them
Just caped them

Honestly, I went to Lowe’s, found a close enough pipe cap. Threaded it on and welded it solid.

This. Pipe cap worked fine for me.

Assuming this is something I can find on a forum but does anyone have a pic or video of the location?

you can get them at any hardware store in the plumbing dept. It is just a threaded cap that screws on top of it.
