so i pulled my trans nite and decided fuck it...ill pull the smog pump off to..go it off next question i have is wat part number do i use for the belt...from doin some research i found it needs to be 89"..

Just take that # to your parts house and they'll be able to get you the right belt.

If you are using stock pullies and have ac and ps,the belt length needs to be 90.5".I tried 89" on mine and it was too short.90.5 works great tho.i think the 89" length is for if you have underdrive pullies

now let me ask u another question....wouldnt i be able to get the belt for a non ac car??? seems like its the same routing jus on a seperate side

Maybe. it would depend on if the spacing is the same.
You'll likely still end up making 2 or 3 trips to the parts store anyway.
You could just pick up a 89.5 and a 90.5 and return the one that don't fit.
Pick the one that fits the tightest with the tensioner compressed without having to stretch to get it on.

There are two ways to mount the belt. Standard and Alternate routing method. Im using the alt routing method and w/ a smog delete pulley and no AC the belt length is 96 1/8
