Hey everyone, I am looking into upgrading my exhaust by a header set up. I am thinking that a long tube would be the best for my car. But I am honestly needing more information on the subject. What is the difference between equal and unequal length headers and what is the best down pipe to follow them. Also let me know your thoughts on brand

Equal length are a waste of money. Either save money and get unequal length or spend the extra and get longtubes.

The factory V6 manifolds actually flow quite well, and power added vs. pain in the ass/cost to install is not worth upgrading to shorty's.

If you are shooting for all top end power, then go with longtubes. I have pace setters into a custom H pipe.

If I were to do it all again, I would keep the shorty's so I would have more torque down low. I noticed a big bottom end difference switching to the long tubes. And my motor is fairly "built" for a V6.
