Alright i did a whole bunch of searching on this a while back but didnt write down the part number when i found it. I need to now what the best plugs would be for running about 10 PSI or so on 1994 SVT 5.0 car?

I think i remember reading the NGK TR6's would be best for my application but i cant find that info again fore some reason.

Thanks

NGK TR6's or Autolite 103's is what I have used in the past both with good results.

it would help if you stated what heads you are using. you go sticking a tr6 into a stock iron head and you will have some nice piston damage since the thread reach is almost a solid .5" deeper

Good info modo. I had tr6s on my 04 cobra only. On my other cars I had autolite 103s. I like autolies better because with the tr6s I had tuning issues a bit but that could have been the car itself. That car was a nightmare.

yeah iron heads have a real shallow reach, after market aluminum heads have more threads because of the softer aluminum. these numbers are not exact but its something like .25" for iron and .75" for aluminum. big difference

i run autolites in my motor... 3923 to be exact. if the car above is aluminum heads i would run the 3923 as well since that is two heat ranges colder then stock. if it is a stock iron headed car then just autolite 23 would do

are you sure the reach on the TR6 is deeper? I went to the auto parts store i used to work at and looked through the NGK book. the plugs it listed as factory for my iron GT40 head car and the TR6's visually looked the same.I pulled both off the shelf to compare them. Although i could be mistaken.

tr6 is the model... you need to check the stock #. there could be a tr6 with proper reach but you best check
