Best way to remove the emblems off the front fenders???

    I want to take off my gt emblems on the front fenders. what is the best way to remove the emblems WITHOUT ruining the paint.

    take fishing line and use it to "saw" the emblem off of the fender. just wrap it around each hand (may want gloves) and start it behind the emblem and just go back and forth till it is free. Then goo gone or something like that to get the adhesive/junk off the fender

    Fishing string is so far the better method... just remember... there is a hole behind each emblem

    use a heat gun as well but dont let it get too hot.

    The fishing string is the best. I f you don't have a fishing string try any other cord.
    Use some alcohol to remove the adhesive. And after all polish the part of the fender.

    Thanks for the info. I'm going to cover the hole with a 5.0 emblem.

    I'll be doing it in the next couple of weeks. I now have to find a place to get good quality emblems, not cheap flat ones.
