Hello all, so I retrofitted some mini bi-xenon projectors into my one piece headlights for my 96. I’m having trouble wiring up the bi-xenon high beam motor to work properly. Currently, the high beams work when the lever on the column is not pushed forward. Essentially, it’s reversed. Any help with this wire up would be appreciated.

You just gotta reverse the wires in the big OEM connector (usually light blue) and then it should work. The Morimoto harness is confused due to the way they have their pinout configuration. Basically swap positions of the two wires that are not ground (I think ground it usually off to one side and it should be black but it's been a while for me). Happy modding.

^^^What he said. I went through the same thing a few years ago. The morimoto (and most 9007 HID harnesses) are wired for a 9004 setup.

Here's a couple pics for reference

I know I'll have to flip my OEM pins back to normal because I've been using a Mori harness for HID for the longest time, but soon it'll be rocking the MLED 2.0

I never flipped the OEM pins, just the pins on the HID harness
