big 3 upgrade

thinking of doing the big 3 upgrade, would 4 gauge wire be good enough or should i go bigger. i dont wanna go bigger if i dont have to.

How much power are you gonna be drawing? I have 4G and it works perfectly and fit through car nicely. I have 2 small JL amps pushing @ 600 watts rms but if I was gonna go bigger I would have used a 0G. Although some of the cheap 2G and 0G on the market is no thicker inside than a quality 4G so shop wisely.

as he said 4 awg is a huge improvement over the stock but it depends on what you run. IF you run 0awg power like I am then 4 awg there will still be a choke point.
