 All! Well, If any of you guys remember, I had a 1998 V6 mustang, custom painted viper blue with a Cobra hood and Cobra R front bumper, along with 18" DD Chrome Bullitts. Well the story is, I put it on craigslist just to see if I would get any offers at the asking price of $6,000, yeah...high right? Well, for a V6 that is... To my surprise I got 2 emails, and one of the guys fell through with a sale simply because he just loved the look of my car. I sold it to him for 5,500 cash. Now was the perfect time to upgrade...!

Well, after waiting a good week or two for a good condition SN95 GT to show up on craigslist at a fair price, I finally found one! But to my luck it wasn't a GT but a 1996 DOHC SVT Cobra! Listed for $5,000 with 120,000 miles on the clock. Yeah, you think well, 120K that's pretty high mileage, but when I met the guy that owned the car, this is what changed my mind about the mileage. The guy was the original owner, and he pretty much babied it maintenance wise, but couldn't keep up the paint just because he was pretty old and all and he did not have a garage to keep the car in. To make a long story short, I sold my v6 mustang for 5,500 and got a completely stock 96 cobra for 4,700.

Really, the only bad thing about the car as of now is one rim has a little wear in the chrome, and is pretty dull. (front left) And the paint is faded in the usual spots (front bumper, and rear bumper) I have plenty of mods planned. Starting with visual. I already got new headlights, as well...
plans...
-drop
-shorty antenna
-cobra front emblem
-smoked fogs
-S281
-respray entire car
-chrome bumper inserts
-(maybe) 18" 9/10 chrome saleens
My question to you is...
Did I do good?
