Ok. new 2004 motor needs to go in.

I don't know what to do.

I have or waiting on all the accessories for the nitrous. (Zex wet kit, bottle warmer, remote opener, blown down tube, in car no2 pressure guage, purge kit, window switch). I had my heart set on putting it in but:

other option: sell the nitrous stuff and buy comp cams + valve springs.

Without the nitrous I can hold off on the headstuds to.

I can do it all but really don't want to sink that much into it with the nitrous because I would still need the headstuds, Tuner + Dyno & tune, gasket kit, new plugs, etc...

It really starts to rack up fast. :dontknow:

what should I do?

if you bought all the nitrous stuff brand new, keep it, or you will lose money.

I got deals on everything. I could probably break even if I sell it all together.

I would say if you dont lose the money on your nitrous stuff go with the valves and springs. Im not sure what kinda HP shot you wanted to run. nor am i positive what HP gains you'll get with the cam and springs. but i would go with the cam and springs cuz you always have that HP on tap as soon as you hit the throttle and you dont have to pay to refill that HP. but thats just my opinion

keep it and keep saving to finish your stuff.... if your car still gets you from point A to point B, keep rockin' out with you c*** out... once the motor fails (or is on its final last leg.) sell your stuff.

you can get a 4.6 motor off criageslist for $300.00.... so i suggest you keep your parts and continuing on your current path.

I would run a 125 shot. The cams and valve springs would roughly give me 30 +/- hp. either way I will still be getting a tuner so I can maximize its potential.

I don't plan on having it blow on me if I do the nitrous therefor all the extra accessories to keep it as risk free as I can. And I payed $1500 canadian for my motor, and that's a decent deal around here. It's just not the same as down there.

i dont understand... . . is your car running? if it is, just keep saving money to do your swap the way you want.

once it starts failing on you, start thinking of parting out your stuff.

It runs, but blown headgasket, so no not running technically. Its parked indoors. 14" of snow on the ground. I have an 03 Sonoma ZR2 for winter. No rush on the swap, but want it ready for spring. So I have some time to save and think but it's getting sickening getting payed then half the check goes into parts for this car that is not progressing very fast.

Probly Just a case of the winter blues right now. lol

It should be a different story after Christmas spending. I get my Fire pay and can save abit.
