Last week I changed spark plugs in my gt and now getting up to speed theres a stumble. It happens in every gear with the accelerator at halfway. Changed MAF sensor this morning and still doing it, only half as bad. Hooked it up to the IDS (reads codes and other fancy stuff) and no codes were thrown so i know the plugs are firing because if not it would have thrown a code. It has to do something with the air/fuel mixture. and fuel filter was replaced around 6-7 months ago. I would like to see what all of you think about this. Because I absolutly hate not knowing whats wrong with my car.

Did it happen RIGHT after changing your plugs? If so, that's where I'd start.
What gap are they?

check your gap, make sure there in tight not walking themselves out of the head. plug wires crossed? can still run even with em crossed. wires in good shape? plug cracked. could have a bad plug thats fouling out. start with one at a time and go from there let us know

plugs are gapped at 54. yes did happen right after plug change, they are motorcraft plugs. no plugs are cracked and the wires are fine. and hooked up an IDS(Ford scan tool) and pulled codes and if a plug was fouling it would throw a code. if any plug fouls out it would throw a code and i had none. so i still lost lol

Ben,

It will not always throw a code, it depends on how severe the miss is. Are you sure you have all the wires hooked up right and NONE of the porcelain on the plugs are cracked?

Im pretty sure my wires hooked up right, ive pulled the plugs and checked them twice, a guy on another forum said to take needlenose pliers and tighten the end of the wires together to make a better connection. ill be tryin that this week

check gap,
check wire locations (ie #1 plugged into #2 cyliner)
check to ensure the wires are on all the way.

I had trouble with my #4 cylinder wire always wiggling its self up a little bit, just enough to make a miss, you should check that out also.. man that was always a pain.

Alrite, I went out and bought some Ford Racing 9mm plug wires and switched them so now the car is running perfect! but i did notice on the old wires some the boots were cracked and they looked awful inside. so im pretty sure 2 or maybe 3 plugs werent firing
