body part swap question??

i dont know if this is the right forum to post this question in so if the mods need to move it then please do.

I have the chance to pick up a black 98 v6 mustang for real real cheap. I also have a 98 mustang gt black in color as well. I need the front hood, bumper, drivers side fender, and headlights for my gt. I was wondering if i should pick up this v6 mustang and swap out the hood, fenders, and bumper with my gt. Are there any major differences in the body parts. im getting the car painted so its no biggy if the paint does not exactly match up.

any help would be excellent since the donor car mgiht be sold quick!! thanks

you shouldnt have no problems, almost all the body parts from 94-98 are all the same.

some of them with lil or no modifications.

Should bolt right up.

The V6 and GTs were identical minus the badges and the rear bumper to my knowledge. I'm guessing you wrecked the GT? If theres any problems itll be because of that, but you might be able to fudge it and get it to go together good.

98 to 98 everything should match up no problem.

no i didnt crash the gt....i picked it up for 1500 bucks...there are pics in the multimedia forums...its my spring project, but if i can pick up an identical v6 for like 400 bucks same color....its definatly a deal i think....the v6 also has 373 gears and some other mods that i can sell here...so im going to pick it up
