i was wondering if anyone knew what size the bolts are that go from the bottom of the car thru the floor and the track sits on it and you but the nut on top of it to hold the seat track to the floor.
what size is it?
the guy who had this car before me prolly had aftermarket seats in it and the bolts hold my seats in now fine but they are old and i think aren't the correct bolts but they work. i wanted to go the hardware store and pick some new ones up so i can put the right ones in.
so i figured for those who have changed their seats or whatever if yall knew.

Super old thread, but I found it because I twisted off a bolt taking the driver's seat out and needed to know what size. The two rear bolts take an M10 x 1.5 bolt with a 15mm head and a captive washer.
Pro tip: If you don't have an M10 x 1.5 tap to clean up the threads on the floor pan, you can use a 3/8 NC 16 tap. It's a little bit smaller but will get the hole cleaned out and prepped for the proper metric bolt. I wound up buying a rando from Ace Hardware because my local Ford dealer didn't have any in stock (and were going to make me buy 5).
Cheers!

I had two of the rear threads gets so trashed from corrosion that when I pulled them out to remove seats I had no choice but to helicoil them. Shit happens.
