Bought me a 4 wheeler finally

I've been looking for a steal. Found it and have it in the garage already pulled apart

. 01 trx250ex. Got it for 200 bucks. Someone stole in it Savannah, brought it here, road around, got caught and it got taken back. It proceeded to sit at the same junkyard I got the 95 from and I picked it up from there. Ignition switch was all f'd and useless. So I'm ordering one. Cleaned up pretty nice :headbang:

Where are you at?

I'm pretty happy with it. Plastics are off and it's in pretty good shape. I just rhino lined the bumpers, they were rusted to hell. Ordered a switch and wiring setup from carolina honda in columbia so that should be here today. Get a battery for it and i'm goin ridin.

Fixed it tonight. Bought a switch and a battery. It doesn't have a way to shut it off right now. I still need to work on that wiring part lol. I just pull the choke out and it sputters till it dies.

I'd say from what I hear most of the injuries happen when just riding around the yard. For instance, theres a contracter whos building our new camp. Well his daughter was puttin around the yard when someone rammed into her, knocking her off the quad cracking her skull in 4 places. Another was a kid who went to my school, crossing the street, hit a rut, went into a tree, killed him. Just be careful man, Im not saying wear proper boots, chest protectors, gloves, but atleast wear a helmet!

LOL alot of people really like it (the wall I mean). I went to buy a helmet from cycle gear yesterday but the only one they had that I could afford was clearance, it was an oneill. But they only had a shelf model one without a box or bag, and I'm not taking the one everyone put there greasy heads in ha.
