Hey, I bought some '03 cobra calipers so I'm gathering up everything I need for the swap and it looks like its coming out pretty cheap, not the best deal but pretty decent. What did you all spend on your front cobra brake conversion? I'm buying some SS brake lines and some drilled and slotted rotors. Anything else that I need? Thanks

Yeah, I hear the 03 04 factory brakes are better though, thats why I bought them. So they will just bolt up with the cobra brake lines and cobra rotors?? Sounds simple but there has to be something else, it can't be this easy.

I :dunno: mine came with a choice of drilled or slotted rotors for 400, I think it was Musle Motors Performance or something like that on Ebay, very nice people.

Mine wasn't a "real" Cobra package, it was 13" Rotors, Bullit caliper's (with horsies instead of Cobra), bracket's, and braided lines.

But I mean it did the job pretty well, even though I still hit that Corrolla :hammer:

I bought the Bullitt Brake kit, which is the same as the Cobra/Mach 1 Brakes. The only difference is the calipers are painted differently. I paid $385 for the kit last February. It really helps the car stop.

Prices seem to have gone up quite a bit on everything recently. I'm still doing decent compared to what the brake kits are costing right now. I'm glad it makes a difference in braking, it better :thumb:

Yeah, thats about the best price right now that I've seen anywhere. I wanted slotted rotors also so it didn't make much sense for me to buy a kit.

Yep, they came on those cars stock, that's how they each get their names. All the same part.
