How do you replace it? I've attempted it before but I couldn't get the power steering pulley off.

you can loan the tool from Autozone for free, too. You put it over the lip on the front part of the pulley and it pulls it off as you tighten the shaft down. It's hard to explain you kinda just have to do it. I didn't pull mine all the way off but i got the pulley about half off and was able to get a wrench in there. Stupid idea on fords part, would it have been that hard to make a hole for a socket??

Clamshells close over the lip on the pulley and the puller nut with the jackscrew installed. Collar goes over the clamshells. Turn jackscrew and it will bottom out against the power steering drive, and pull the pulley off.

With an impact wrench it takes about 30 seconds.
