So I changed my front break pads today. Since the bolt you take out to just flip the caliper up was stripped I pulled the whole caliper off. Doing that I took off the break line. So after I got everything buttoned bake up I tried to bleed the breaks. Spent over an hour bleeding them and I still can't get any pressure. I can't see anymore air coming out but why can't I get any pressure?

Is somebody pumping the brakes with you under the car? Or are you pumping then going to tighten the bolt?

Sent while drinking.

I used the one man way with the Jose and a bottle. That wasn't working do I closed the valve pumped the breaks used a broom to hold the pedal to the flpot then opened the valve. Nothing either way. I would have just done it with two people but it was after I got off work so nobody was around.

I have never tried the one man brake bleed before. Glad to hear you got it back up and going, that had to be a challenge!

two man is the easiest one pumps and when its a true stream coming out close the bleeder screw. plus to keep in mind you should always start on the side furthest away from the master cylinder.

Ya I usually have somebody help me but my girlfriend is in Oklahoma and I did it when I go off work at like midnight. Whole reason I did it so late is because I am headed down to Oklahoma on Friday to meet up with her. Didn't have time to wait and they needed done badly.
