I almost bought a new F-250 last week..I wanted the new 7.3 pushrod engine. The wife said no because the monster is too tall to see in front of. She sat in it and made me walk in front of it until she could see my feet, it was too far away and she is 6 feet tall, dang. Got a Ram 3d. gen. Ecodiesel, could be a mistake...we will see.

Mopar is using shitty blowers, they won't last long. Too many cars are only good new till 75k then...

Dodge Viper motors never lasted past 80k before starting to really come apart. And that’s in a hand built super car.

I feel like every car manufacturer is designing time bombs. If they make them to last, why would we want to buy a new one?

Guy who let me use his shop when I did all the body work on the beast once told me a story about his trip to Detroit years ago. He got to go tour the GM headquarters (he’s a damn Chevy nut) and while he was there he got to actually meet engineers who mainly deal with the body’s and material selection. He asked them why the hell with all this modern technology they still couldn’t make a truck body that didn’t rust out in not time.

They asked him, “what do the majority of truck owners do when the start to see the rust?” He replied “they start looking at newer trucks”

They responded “now you’ve answered your own question.”

thats the way of capitalism. Cant make money if you don't sell lots of things and generate repeat business. I know we love repeat clients at our company.
