ok so i get a knock on my door earlier and i answer. it was my neighbor and his friend. well earlier i was doing yard work and parked my car out into the street for some odd reason. well i was going to park it back into the garage but i took a shower. but anyways sorry im a.d.d. he was like hey lets go look at your bumper cause i backed into it and my trailer hitch went through your front bumper. i about had an heartattack! not to bad but just the littlest it the worst. so i am going to take it tomorrow and get an estimate and was thinking since i had deep dish cobra r wheels i might consider going with a cobra front bumper then later do a cobra r cow hood, or just back to what i have which is a stock gt bumper with a mach 1 chin spoiler........ Questions and decisions.. hmm... any opinions please!!! o ya do you think that they will just be able paint a new bumper and it look good with the orginial paint or are they going to need to paint more to blend?

I had to get a new bumper not to long ago and u want really cant tell a difference but u got to realize it is gone be a fresh coat of paint but i say keep the gt bumper getting a cobra bumper is trying make your car something its not just my thought on it

Cody go for the cobra bumper,Cobra bumper is just an upgrade for our cars.

Sure i am because it performs, if not better just as good as some aftermarket stuff.
Now dont get me wrong, i don think putting COBRA BADGES on a non cobra is correct.But if it can perform better or just as good than a cobra Im ok with it.
My two cents.

SO TODAY I GOT AN ESTIMATE OF $898.08 FROM A COLLISION REPAIR SO I CALLED THE GUY THAT HIT ME AND HE SAID ALRIGHT I'LL STOP BY AND WRITE YOU A CHECK IF U KEEP IT FROM THE INSURANCE. SO IM GETTING $900.00 AND AM GOING TO PROB SAVE A LITTLE MORE MONEY AND GET SOME MORE PAINT WORK DONE WHILE ITS THERE. SHOULD I GET A COBRA R HOOD I WAS LOOKING AND SUMMIT HAS ONE THAT LOOKS NICE AND IT HAS METAL REINFORCEMENTS UNDERNEATH. ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD COMPANYS THAT HAS GOOD COBRA R HOODS?

wow you made out like a bandit there, you can get a new bumper from ford for like 250, a cervinis hood for 500 + shipping and you have 150 plus whatever spare chage you have in the dryer for paint. If you want to go the shortcutin way, maaco that shit, itll be brand new parts so they cant fuck the prep up to much since the hoods and bumpers are usually primed i think. nice deal man, and its your car, do what you want. the cobra bumpers look nice and ive seen 6ers with 4 inch cowl hoods, so its not just a making into something its not thing. I have a T-56 and a blower so i guess my car is a wanna be termy?
