burning oil weird

I need some help trying to figure out what is causing my car to burn oil at weird times. You can smell it when you get out of the car but if i sit at a red light for like 30-45 secs then just tap the gas it pours smoke out of it for like 5 secs what and were could it be leaking through cause oil to burn bad like that and at only that time

Mine will do it every now and then when im.backing up..im curious to..but I figured valve seals..BUT being the every now and then thing..idk lol..

Valve seals is usually when you start it mine when.its running and sitting.still

Mine does the same thing its a stock 4.6 npi with 100*** miles it only does it every how and then and I notice the smell sometimes when backing up also. It never smokes at start up. Interested to see if anyone's solved this issue. I've already replaced the pcv valve.

piston rings, valve seal, pcv valve...all possible. only way to know for sure would be to do a compression test and a cylinder leakage test to see if its the rings. replace pcv valve. if both of those didnt find the problem then its valve seals.

my burning oil smell was a cracked PCV valve. easiest to check sí start there. Now I've got a smell at 6500 letting off the throttle, bye bye valve seals lol

Thanks for the help guys i think Im gonna start looking for a 99-04 pi motor to rebuild cause Idk how many miles my car even has on it the my miles stopped at 86k

I think piston rings are the best to opt for I am also using them.
