Keep the car if you can. I know a few guys who sold their cars and bought bikes, and while they are a ton of fun, those guys all ended up saying they wished they had kept their cars. Not that they didn't love the bikes, but they wish they had both.

If I was in your position, I would pass for now and save some money to pick up a bike. They don't cost very much to insure and you can take coverage off them in the off season. Basically, other than buying the bike itself, the extra cost won't be significantly more.

I'd like to pick up a bike next summer (gotta buy a new DD this summer - hello WRX :thumb: - no, not the new ugly one). I'd like to have at least one summer of my life where I can cruise down the road in a pack of bikes, looks like a blast.

I'm going to get one as soon as I get my career started. It would be so badass to roll down the road with a pack of bikes!!

My friend sold a bunch of his toys and bought a brand new GSXR 600. He was trying to talk me into selling my stang to buy a bike. all he talked about was how cool his bike was :blah2:. He sold it after owning it just short of a year. bikes are cool and all, but id much rather have a car.

I'd wait till you are tired of your car. There will come a time for that. A bike will always be there and they are cheap. I'm sure you can find one when you save up a little to afford both.
