I would like to move teh air filter on my 97 Cobra to the fenderwell.

Would I be able to use 4.6 GT CAI pieces from the MAF housing to the fenderwel, or is the GT and Cobra housing different?

I dont want to buy an entire Cobra CAI for just a couple of the pieces.

There's no reason why you can't. May have to do minor cutting/coupler work depending on the fender tube you use vs the 4v inlet tube.

Oh. And I would hope they're the same size as well.

If memory serves me the earlier Cobras have an 80mm MAF housing which is the same as the GT's. The Lightnings and 03/04 Cobras had the 90mm. I think I still have my stock 01 MAF housing so I could check if I remember.
