I did a little searching but wanted to hear from people straight up. I have H&R SS springs right now and want to remove my front isos to drop the car some more, but I also want to get some LTs for her, thinkin BBK.

Who is running lowered cars dropped at least 1.75" with longtubes (specify what kind) and let me know what kind of clearance issues you have while driving. If I'm going to be scraping ALL the time I probably won't do it, but let me know. Also if you can give me your ground clearance with the LTs that would be great too, thanks guys!

Talk to Kevin aka 5litrarag..

He is a big H&R fan and a buddy of ours worked for Maximum Motorsports for quite a while..so if he doesn't have the answer, he can probably get it.

Just curious, why would you want to lower it more? The picture looks like your car sits absolutely perfect..

Flowtech LT's, Eibach Sportlines... and I only scrape over BIG bumps. I need to reposition one muffler b/c it hangs slightly lower than I like

mine sits a tad lower than addermk2's and i dont have issues going over speed bumps, just gotta go slow. These dont really sit as low as a 4v would.

My car is dropped 1.5 inches front and rear, I have 1 & 5/8th BBK LT headers and the only time that I MIGHT scrape the headers is in my driveway if I'm not paying attention when I come in or back out. You can see some of the marks on the ground in the pic below and understand why it scrapes occasionally.
Otherwise I dont have any problems with clearance. I had a pic of my car from ground level and you could see how far the header hangs down but I can't find it right now. If I find it I'll post it. Just make sure you get some good dampners (Bilsteins preferably. Hit me up and I'll price you out a set.) and you'll probably be okay. And watch out for the tall speedbumps they put in shopping centers these days. Those seem to always catch people.

Anyway, Heres my driveway pic though....

Thanks for the input so far guys. My car never sees speed bumps and I avoid any steep driveways and everything so I don't have to worry too much about that sort of thing.

not sure if it's just the wheels or what but most of the time it doesn't look low enough, there's still too much gap for the optimal look IMO. I may wait for the new wheels and tires and then decide, we'll see.

5litrarag, I have Tokcios all around right now and am pretty happy with them. Were u going to price me a set of Bilstiens or LTs?

I have coil-overs and the top of the wheel well is 26 1/2" from the ground. I have no problems with mine.

A friend of mine has sportlines with no iso's and his set's a half inch lower than mine. He has to creep over everything. It still doesn't scrape much.

I actually had better ground clearance when I switched to the LT's from shortys and a mid pipe.

ive hit mine a few times just going from concrete to gravel parking lots and if im going a tad too quick over a speed bump, it will scrape, but its DEF worth it just be careful cause the benefits IMO far outweigh the hassle of slowing down a bit more

i wouldnt worry about the headers scraping, my headers sit even with the frame the only thing that gets close to the ground is the O/R X pipe

that's kinda my problem now, the Prochamber hangs pretty low.. If it was the same with LTs it would not be bad. What brand LTs are you running?
