Cam question

Ive got a 96' gt that Im doing the full P.I swap on soon,I already have LT's,off-road X pipe,CAI,UDP's,coil packs,plenum&75mm TB,and 3.73'

So my question is which cams would be ideal for me to use for my set-up,Im not planning FI maybe a lil spray and the car will be mostly daily driven...

if you do, make sure you tell them it's pi swapped, as they do have a nice custom grind for pi swapped cars. or so I have been told by a few people and one of there reps.

Cool thnx,Im new to the 4.6 to a point,my brother had one a couple yrs ago which I did all his bolt-ons including the PI swap on his car,Im use to the 5.0 cars,just decided to swap it up alil

Agreed, im running the same cams and they are perfect IMO for everyday driving and performance. I put down 300rwhp with these cams on a full bolt on set up. they are also a really good boost cam if you ever decide to change your set up. just keep your compression and PTV in mind.

Car sounds really good,got a nice chop to it,ill seriously consider those if i stay 2v..my buddy kinda has me thinkin bout going 4v na..not sure yet..

Thanks man! Honestly both bolt motors will both make around the same amount of power and I like pulling up to N/A cobras and pullin on them with my 2v

hahaha. Another reason I like a good 2v is the power band is much lower.

lol dude its not just n/a 4v cars. you will be very surprised on what you can smash on with this setup.. i've torn up alot of stuff on the road. and intend to continue.

and before my comments get twisted up i'm not bashing 4v cars at all i have 3 lol. and love the shit out of them.

Oh for sure! Im not saying just n/a cobras either (they're just my favorite). Haha I've bashed on a bunch of cars on the street too. I had a cobalt SS give me a run for my money though. It was a 09 turbo car on 21lbs. I pulled a half car length from a 35 roll and by the time I hit the top 4th he was still at the middle of my door. Hahaha
