Well in that case... Go for it. You will still have to check PTV. Then if the pistons need to be notched, get the rotating assembly rebalanced.

Well I was looking at the heads, they say you can only have up to .550 lift and stage 2 has .563 lift on the exhaust side.

Upgrade the springs with one of the kits that Ed @ FTI offers. You'll thank me later.

Do you have a link to those valve springs? I got the stage 1 cam so I didn't need to upgrade the springs. Now I can't stop thinking about getting more power, so I am looking into the stage 2 with the springs upgraded. Also would it maybe be possible to just do 1.7 rockers with the stage one and be fine with out upgrading the springs? Thanks for he help

That's gonna cost a bit more than I thought. The only reason I would upgrade the springs is to use the stage 2 cam. I think I would be better off just returning the heads going with the next level up which allow .600 of lift for 180 bucks more.

The spring package I have shown you is still better.

If you want to play, you've gotta pay. Do it right the first time. You'll thank me in the end.
