Fuel where I live is over $9 a gallon. Thats the accepted norm here.

Maybe some other European Stang owners can top this but, how $hits that? :confused1:

that probably is the us equivilant. The last time I was in europe was almost 20 yrs ago and even then we realized that we were paying the same price per gallon, but then realized that they priced it per liter...

That is insane...I think I am paying around $3.19/gallon for 93 octane here in S. Fla.

Are your pay rates higher there overseas to afford the cost of living/gas?

ever wonder why europe has soo many bikes, small cars and large public transportation systems? Now ya know.... Cars are a luxery there and they are taxes accordingly from what I have heard from the regular inspections to the fuel. You would not see half the trashy cars that you find on the roads here because they would not pass inspection.

Where I live, regular gas is 103.9/litre, premium i think is 113.9 or 115.9/litre, haven't needed premium without my mustang so I dont know the exact amount. That's why when I people complain about $3.00 a gallon, be thankful!

Yes, to a certain degree thats right. Its different for every country but yes, thats about right. Its still f**king expensive though.
I remember once meeting an American couple who, god love them, had planned to tour Scotland with their V8 gas Motorhome that they`d brought
from the states with them. They had to cut their vacation short by two weeks as they hadn`t anticipated the price of fuel.

bummer but true.

1 USD = 0.62 GBP
1 US gallon = 3.79 litres

If you are paying 5.90 GBP for 1 litre, that is the same rate as Americans paying $36 per gallon...just in case anyone was wondering about the actual numbers.

No, 5.90gbp for a gallon - About $9.50 a gallon. My apologies for the dumbass mistake.

It`s 1.30(ish) a litre and theres 4.5 litres (roughly) in a gallon here.

Here EUR 1,55 a litre
That's EUR 5,85 for a gallon

Dollar = 0.72
That's about $ 8,15 a gallon

Thanks to the good Dollar/Euro rate at this moment. Dollar was 0.84 in June.

Guess why my supercharged Mustang is not my daily driver?

Don't worry my European friends, we might be right there with you shortly. Our Federal Reserve is printing $600,000,000,000 (BILLION) and buying U.S. treasuries with the money. Effectively monetizing our debt. This will could cause massive inflation as our dollar becomes devalued.

Oh ok, you said 5.90/litre and I was like WHOA. That's a little easier to accept.
