Motor should be all done and put in today. Dad really wants to start it, and so do I. I just don't want anything to go wrong because of the h/c/i and egr delete.

He doesn't believe it's going to be that big a change.

I guess our big thing is we don't want to have to trouble shoot at the speed shop, because we all know these things never drop in without a hitch. on top of that, my power steering needs to be filled.

I just did a HCI on mine but kept the EGR after reading about how much trouble it causes the computers and I am still in need of a tune. You might get lucky but I am betting you should plan on one as well..

Put 24# injectors on, didn't change the MAF. Figuring they can tune that.

I am planning on getting it tuned almost immediately, I just don't want to be trouble shooting and driving up my bill at the tuning shop

god I know that feeling, prettymuch as I sit here typing. They got mine running but it pops here/there and hopefully that is just in the tune. Good luck, I know I need it.

Last time I took mine to the dyno for a tune, 1 month later we dropped back in a stock rebuilt motor. Don't wanna do that again.

You should be fine to start it. Who is tuning it? most tuners will email you a temp tune to drive on for free.

Taking it to Lamotta, and I went up and talked to them but they were like "just bring it here, we break in on the dyno all the time"

Ha, maybe you have somewhere better, seeing as your in my area ;p

Well, out in Deltona/Deland is www.VMPtuning.com Probably the best place to take a V6 mustang in the country actually.
