ok these rims say that 265/35/18 is the best fit ment can you but 275 45 18 or like a 275 40?
Are you asking if you can run a 275 40 18 or 275 45 18? IF it is yes you can i would say probably go with 275/40 or 275/35 if you are running 18s
i ment to put this. the rims say best fitment is 265/35/18 and i wanna lil wider and taller tire can i run a 275/40/18?
Front or back? Or both?
Why do you want a taller/wider tire?
those rims are a set of4 so itll be back and front there still 18x9 but there deep dish 18x9 soitll be all the way around and i dont nessicarily want a wider one but i want atleast a lil taller like a 40 well does any one on here have 35 sidewalls so i can see some if soo i just dont wanna be ridin on rubber bands
you need a 35 series tire on 18" wheels or else your speedometer will be off like crazy, i know because i have 40 series tires right now and will be going down to a 35 series tire soon.
well now im worried cause the kind of tire i have to ge is a 245/40/18 will that fit on a 18x9 rim?
that tire will be way too small of a width, it will offer no curb protection...IMO, i would go with 275/35/18s all the way around if i was you...
i know but would it fit is what im asking and i know i want the 275 35 18 but my dad wants the 245/40/18 cause it has a better tread
Why not use the recommended tire size? Who is paying for it, you or your dad? If your dad is paying, then guess what...
me and my dad are supposed to be going halfs or something i just dont wanna order the 245 40 18's he wants to get and it not fit my rim
I think low profile tires look like ass. Next time around im goin with 40's.
245/45/18 will fit an 18X9 rim.....they will fit, but i wouldn't consider it a proper fit.
ok i got ya
