cant decide

This coming summer i plan on selling my car for a better one. Here is what im looking to get, either an 05-06 ls2 gto or a 99-01 cobra (terminators are out of my range). The gto's are really growing on me, but im split in half on this one cause the cobra would cost almost a good 10k less than the gto, and well the cobra speaks for itself......svt. The thing is that im saving up right now until summer comes around, this summer i could get a cobra, or i would have to keep saving till probably the later summer to get the gto. I really dont know what to do, i want something with alot of power and you can throw a cam in the gto and its pretty much orgasmic, it combines luxury on the inside with that ls2 under the hood. I know most of you are going to say stick with the cobra, but if you were to decide on what to get between these 2, what would it be?

Cobra, IMHO. The GTO doesn't do anything for me aesthetically. You can make anything fast . . but you can't fix ugly.

ive driven both and will say that the gto is a pig all around. the seats are thick, back seat is huge, very comfortable, but i dont like alot of the color codes and in reality the car wasnt for me atall, it felt like driving a boat, handling sucked for the most part, and power didnt seem near what its said to be. so it would probably be cobra for me, but if your willing to spend 20k on a gto, why is a terminator outta the question??

If you can afford a gto, why not go terminator or mach? My cousin has a 06 gto and its nothing special. The interior is nice, but that's about it. I'd take a mach1 or cobra over it, maybe a c5z06

if you can afford a gto, you can afford a terminator! GO TERMINATOR, NOT GTO.

buuttt, if you for some reason cant get the terminator, i'd still go for the 01 cobra. gto's are nice, but too heavy, and too boring

I agree. In fact I have a buddy that's selling his 01 Cobra..he's got about $9k into it..will be in our classifieds later this week..

i'm really suprised at how cheap the 99-01 cobras go for, even when they are supercharged and/or heavilt modified they don't go for much. i have considered saving up and selling my car to get one!

thats why i would get a 99-01 cobra, i can find them for a decent price, or a modified one for less than a terminator, also ive seen some people around in my town with a terminator, id just rather have something different

imo I would love to have a mach 1 over a cobra. I love the ws6 t/a's tho

gto's are really nice cars, but like said before, you can't fix ugly. If you're going to spend 20k on a gto why not get a z06 vette or even like an older muscle car.

the ws6's are awesome, and i do like them but i have just narrowed them down to either the cobra or the gto, ws6 was in my top 5 picks, along with the camaro ss
