Car covers?

There is probably a thread started with this. I am because I have questions about them. Most of you know my car is in the body shop right now. When I get it back, I would liker to cover it each night. The town I live in is just very dirty!! I see American Muscle has one made my Cover Craft for $169.99. 50resto has one from CC that goes for $119.99. I think I have read on here that Amer Muscle's is a really good one! I don't mind spending that much if I know it is the best!

Here's another reason why I want one. We have a lot of cat roaming around, too. If I put the cover on then they jump onto it, will it be OK? I try to keep them away, but good luck trying! Plus, I have a cat that lives in my windows! They come around to see her.

I don't know anything about them, though!! Does anyone have any experience and recommendations? Thanks!!

Being I have alot of knowledge with these covers myself take my advice, being i dont drive my in rain or snow I cover my all the time esp this year when it snows I havent driven it in 3 months, every season I have had to buy a new cover, The best that has held up to my crazy ice blizzard, the cover did not leak I took it off my car was clean SPOTLESS!! amazing, I recommend this one, out of all the diff covers ive tryed, go to= www.50resto.com or  www.mustangsunlimited.com and look up the " all seasons"  outdoor, 3 layer, extreme protection cover, it is rated for rain snow ANYTHING! its $200 but its worth every penny covercraft makes them so they fit our cars perfectly! :thumbsup: ccasion14:

I always heard they can scratch your car but I don't know how true that is

I bought a $50 from ebay and it does an amazing job of keeping water off the car, And I live in a VERY harsh climate for winter(most canadians in the praires would agree). Only thing is I have to put towels on my black cowl as the car cover can scratch that due to the lack of a clear coat.

Since your car will have fresh paint on it, you won't want to cover it for at least a couple months. The paint is still vulnerable to scratching.

Thanks, did not know that.  I knew not to wash it, that's about all.  By time I can save up the $, it will be OK for me to cover it.  Kinda works out better! 

Oh, my car will never meet any precip either. If I get caught out in it is the only way. I'm hoping to keep it parked in it's stable! I used other cars on these days.

Its ok to wash your car after its painted, you just cant wax it.

i have a wolf one, think its made by cover craft? anyways it was about 130 its the one for garages which is dust proof. super nice i love it.
