Car need a good shine, please help.

I take to the detail shop, wash and wax is $200, cause my pain is not shine, it had acid rains damage, and my mirror had acid rains damage also, I really interest on buff the cars, any one here can help me make my car shine again ? thanks

I used some old school turtle wax today and it worked great.

I really hope you didnt pay 200 for a wash and wax.

Your paint needs work....sounds like it definately needs to be clay barred, buffed with a medium compound, polished, and then waxed.


Your paint could be so gone too with acid rain damage

I need help understand more about buff and buff compound, where I can get this stuff ? and im confuse on the pad thing, their so many different pad. which one is for buff and which one is for polish ?

I would go to autopia and read up.

I use 3 pads for polishing/compound.

Yellow pad heavy cut
orang pad light cut
white pad polish
blue pad for wax

This is with a PC( porter cable orbital)

Do you have pictures of your paint?

sounds like a medium abrassive polish, then top it with a good sealer.

if you don't have the tools or products, find a good detailer to do it for you.
