Car wont move in Gear?

So i just installed a new motor in my 94 GT. I get ready for a test drive jump in the car kick it in reverse ease out on the clutch and nothing happens. The clutch is there works fine as far as smoothness and pressure. The tranny was left in the car while the motor was rebuilt. I pulled the shifter and it was installed right. Does anybody have an idea to what it is?

are u using the stock clutch cable or do u have an adjustable one?

is the drive shaft installed? gotta make sure about these things.
If so I'd look into the clutch install too.

Pull on the clutch pedal with the car idling, in neutral, it should help it adjust.

LOL a few years ago after my motor install, i couldn't get my car to start so i got my girl friend and a friend to help push it up the street so i could bump start it, they pushed the car for like 3 mins to get to the top of the hill we turned around to go to start it and i didn't have the drive shaft in, i laughed for about 20 mins, it was pretty funny

Probably just a clutch adjustment.
