The stator is located on the distributor shaft. The part is not expensive ($25+/-) but you will be required to remove the gear at the end of the distributor shaft. This is normally done with a press. A reman distributor may be your best option. Be sure to mark the direction the rotor is pointing before removing so it can be reinstalled in the correct orientation.</p></blockquote><p></p>
