Not to sure why, but the 95 will sit there and lope and chop like its got a cam in it, when its pretty much stock minus LT's and off road exhaust. I don't think anyones put a cam in it, although it does have a fresh motor in it from a PO. Doesn't sound like a B cam or your typical E, it's pretty light. Just wondering why the hell a stock motor would lope like it does, i thought that was a sign of a vaccum line or just the car running rich :dunno:

possible but it's a baby cam and a half if it does. Barely a B cam in idle quality, if that.

They do make cams smaller than B cams ya know :)

I'll have to get a vid up. I don't pay much attention to B or E cams, there small and fairly puny in the camshaft world, so i'm not aware of a cam as small as this lol

Little cams are like a little dick though... Everytime you go to use them you'll wish they were bigger....

I dunno, I know my car is stock, and it does the same thing, although much less so after a tune-up, so it may just be a maintenance issue. A leaky vacuum line will do it too.

thats what i figured. The line from the air inlet tube to the valve cover nipple is pretty loose, so it very well could be.

its probably an idling issue like a dirty IAC or something this happened to my buddies car he cleaned the IAC and leaned it out with a tuner and hasnt done it since. and not to knock you but i hate when ppl say i dunno if it has a cam in it . wel of course it does it wouldnt run if it didnt have a cam in it.

Eh, put your hand over your tailpipe. The harder it sucks the bigger the cam... Atleast thats what my friends dad says and he's pretty good with the "old way" of building these things... :dunno:

Lol that could be a really big problem. Clockwise to advance. Check timing, check your hoses, pull codes. Maybe one of your cylinders isn't lighting off? Doing the cylinder test would be good.

yeah if you retarded the timing on it then it will sound like that especially since it will be popping through the exhaust and not the intake. Check your base timing and see what it's set at

i bumped it, it sounds much better, is smoother, still has some lump to it though. Not to sure why but when you first get it running it tends to act like its flooded or missing, breaks up till 4k+ rpm's.
