So a little while back I posted I was having some clutch issues, hard to shift, hard to get into first and reverse etc. So it finally drove me crazy to the point where I had to break into this thing and see what the hell was going on in there. I got it out and find this crazy crap. Lol

Keep in mind that this car hasn't seen the track yet since I did my engine swap a little over a year ago and it's only been launched a couple times on the street on a set of DR's. It's been mostly just daily driven with pulls every now and again. Anyone else have issues with their centerforce clutches?

I have heard of people having trouble with centerforce dual friction clutches but that's usually when racing, certainly should be able to handle some street driving I would think. I'd call them and ask about it.

that sucks man, I've had similar issue but with a RAM HDX clutch, the pressure plate and disk were completely warped with hard to shift issue/chattering clutch pedal, etc... Completely stock car with no power adders and daily driven to boot.

I've bought a cheapie $105 Sachs replacement set for my car on rockauto and ZERO issues. I'm a happy camper now.

Damn, I got a centerforce dual friction disk with the used tko600 I got a few months ago and was hoping it would be a good clutch and I didn't have to spend $ on a new one.

That sucks OP. How does the pressure plate/flywheel look?

CF clutches are generally awesome. I've been running my dual friction in my car for years with 4.30s and never any problems. I beat the crap out of mine.

I did call center force and they want me to send the clutch assembly in so they can test it on their machine. Hopefully they can help me out but I'm not getting my hopes up. haha

You had issues with your RAM clutch? That was going to be my next replacement. I just don't feel comfortable putting a factory rated clutch back in my car. Lol makes me a bit nervous. Haha

Pressure plate looks great! I couple mild hot spots on it but nothing major at all.

Looks like some sort of defect with those 2 rivets. Glad the company is standing behind it. I've never heard of anyone having issues with Centerforce, I've used Exedy and the King Cobra clutch with good results. The KC held alot more power than it was rated to, first with nitrous hits at the strip, then with a s/c all the time.
