Haven't done them myself, although would be a great addition. CDC has install docs on their site. Here is the one for the side scoops, but not too informative IMO - So yes to the 3M tape.

mine had some kind of adhesive caulking on them that looked really clean, but im going 3m tape. heard nothing but good after the install.

I dont see how just tape can hold these on, while there is constant airflow into them. Especially on the interstate!

get the really strong 3m tape, not just the cheap double sided 3m brand tape..

the super strong 3m tape is nuts.. it will hold anything.

we use the same 3M tape @ my job that alot of companies use for their stainless bumper inserts and these side scoops. its Badass! $100 for 1 roll! BALLIN'
