cervinis and the paint warning?

Alright, I know im not an all knowing car guroo but why is it when you order a hood from cervinis it comes with a little tag warning you to heat the hood in some paint room at 140. for 1 hour and then let it sit outside in the sun for no less than 5 days before you paint it.

I know it says it will cause paint problems but can I just paint it without doing all of this?

has anyone just went ahead and painted it?

u coudl probably take it to the shop, and as long as you told them about the warning, they'd probably do it for you, since most people don't have heated paint rooms
