Have a black SN95. Looking to pick up a premium wax to use over CG Jetseal 109.
From everything I've read, CG E-zyme is a very deep wax for a dark-colored car, while CG Celeste isn't as oily/wet, but rather a crisper wax. CG 5050 and CG Pete's 53 seem to get pretty good overall reviews, but I don't see anyone saying they are outstanding, either. People seem to absolutely swear by Souveran for black/red cars though.
I understand wax is a personal decision, but I have not used any of the above waxes as of yet. Of those above--or any others to consider--what are your preferences for black/dark cars, and why? Probably looking at paste wax here; I understand that's preference as well, but it still doesn't explain why a 16 oz. liquid bottle of Souveran runs for $40 while the 16 oz. paste goes for $95...
Also the wax will be applied with the usual Porter Cable, fwiw.
