"Fastball Racing" Breakdown:
At the time of this Thread, I am 25 years old and out of Michigan. I have owned Numerous SN95's all 4.6's and this is my first 302. I always wanted a 302 SN95 but could never find a worthy candidate,
until my Father in Law purchased this SN95. I pretty much begged him for the car until he sold it to me haha. The car been pretty much a small build up until this year with just a e303 cam and a bolt on turbo kit.

Pretty much this current setup is to test the limit of the 302 that I have and get me used to "decent" power before building my 351w. I never dynoed the old setup but on 8lbs of boost it felt like it made 400 hp.
The Fastball Racing name comes in honor of my professional baseball career that I have retired from and this is my new hobby of entering the racing world.

I have learned a lot on this car from polishing/waxing/buffing/wiring and installing small stuff to large projects.

The car did win 4th place at Detroit Autorama out of 100 in its class.

Very impressive. Nice build. Go easy with that turbo on a stock 302 block. Or get that 351W built and ready!

Thank you very much! I'll be taking it easy on it until the end of the summer and put it on some moon boost to try see what the old 302 will handle. Then the 351 goes in next winter! Im planning on it blowing up haha.

1/14/23 - Prepped engine bay for paint utilizing lacquer thinner and other cleaning supplies.

Sanded down areas that drastically needed it. Especially the tower.

Cut off heater core tubes, replaced with a thin plastic piece cut to size
and held on by orange silicone. Then painted to match.

Sprayed engine bay with VHT Roll Cage Satin Black & mocked up the new engine components.
Still somethings I need to finish touching up paint wise.
But it flashed down pretty nicely into a nice satin finish!

July 24th, 2022.

Terminator X Install started! This was a huge one for me. I’ve never touched a wire once in any of my cars or ever.
I just jumped right in on this, I knew I’d have to do some modifications because the kit is designed for Foxbodys
so I was prepared to teach myself & get after if with putting it together.
Also this is the first week the wife & I moved into our first house!
So a lot of exciting things happening here.

The old ECU and wiring making its way out

74E0F86B-0961-4D8E-B6EC-FE54CD85B95C.jpeg
Labeled everything so I had a broad idea of where to wire the TermX
or atleast having some sort of reference instead of just instruction paperwork.

49B08507-717F-485C-9CD9-F343DFDE8D53.jpeg

Things are getting real haha. Time to mount this under the passenger seat!

DE92C75F-84E6-483B-9174-F1EF87E6F492.jpeg

In place, ran some wiring under the carpet as well!

1B9720B7-1682-4096-A0F5-A481795537BC.jpeg
Through the fender well and out to the engine bay! Heres where it gets fun.

B9DC5913-38C8-4BC0-8C24-672B2A744FB6.jpeg

(August 22nd now) at the time I travel 4+ days a week for work with the Ford Motorcraft NHRA team with Bob Tasca
as a marketing executive. So my car time gets cut into heavily,
but I’ve gotten wires ran and figured out in place!

6DA6B270-A21F-4EB4-A4A4-0122622B04C2.jpeg

Testing out the digital dash from Tinker Electronics to see how it looks
& the little Holley 3.5” screen!

A0FDCD83-7895-422F-B375-F3539589A297.jpeg

(September 26th) Everything is in place, I even relocated the battery to the trunk during this install.
I’ll have to dig out some more pictures of the battery box!

Terminator X Install Part 2.

I picked up a Holley Dual Sync for $200 locally
getting rid of the Foxbody TFI setup I originally swapped to.

C23F7FAD-FCC6-4E8E-9B67-F22365FBE97F.jpeg

(October 5th) The cars running! Pulled it outside to time it with a timing light
& play around inside the Holley Software.

6AE32C21-9D2B-4A8A-B461-0709C7BC7ADB.jpeg

This feels like a huge win in my book! I have never done anything like this before
& I just jumped right into it. Not pictured, I even wired in my fan & 2-step of relay switches.

88C5FDE7-F3B4-4167-A2B4-8A7DE1935AA8.jpeg

October 6th! Made it to the final car show
in Garden city, Michigan for the year.

7E1FB136-67EC-4D6A-A235-E8E354123734.jpeg

October 6th! I didn’t realize the alternator wasn’t a complete circuit when removing the old dash from the car
& replacing it with a digital dash. So I made it 10 minutes away from the car show
& had to trailer it to my father in laws house.

96F106DD-4A60-4E29-BA29-5F02A807C1C5.jpeg

October 7th, charged the battery enough over night to get me home from his house.
(Still unsure at the time why the car died)

A876C160-DDEE-41F4-A80A-E89434A80832.jpeg

Huge shoutout to @TonySvt86 for telling me about the one wire conversion I can do for my alternator to get it to charge.
I ended up doing that to fix the issue!

Canned the 302 project! Decided if Im going to spend the money, spend it somewhat once. Going to 351 Windsor, my dad gave me his 69’ block i’ll be using.

302 & Trans have been pulled out of the car & sold already within a few hours of listing it.

Received a gift from UPR Products in the mail!

Chrome Moly K-Member, Tubular A-arms, Coilover kit with 14-175 springs, & caster camber plates

Since the motor and trans is out, I went ahead and pulled the K-member out of the car as well now.

Thank you bossman! I agree a good Drag setup goes a long way on a SN95! I thought it was very fitting for the screen name!
