Curious, I thought I saw somewhere awhile back that when you were done washing the car and it was still wet, BEFORE drying the car you could coat the entire car with V7 spray, and THEN dry the car.

Is this a complete waste of money or is there a benefit to this?

I can't say I've done this but I wouldn't use a Quick Detailer on a wet car.

Does it leave V7 on the car to protect it or is it purely to make drying easier?

FWIW I'm ordering your nice blower today to dry the car from here on out, the $69 one, if that makes a difference.

It is like combining the two steps. It boosts the shine and is about the same as a separate application.
Ive done both ways

I too have used quick detailers while drying. It helps to get rid of any water spots that might have started to form if it was drying on you fast. In phoenix I would have to wash my car one side at a time if I didn't.
