ive heard of guys removing them by heating it with a blow dryer or something and then using a fishing line pulled tight to sorta of cut it away

which emblems are glued on and which ones are bolted on?
All our emblems are glued on, no bolts, just pin holes...the fender emblems have 1 hole behind them, and the ford emblem on the back has 2 holes.

Use a hair dryer and a plastic blade and they will come right off...the excess should be easy to remove.

How big is the hole left? Big enough that it could cause rust problems? Could I get plugs small enough to fill them in?

the proper tool would be a heat gun. But to save money, a hairdryer does the trick, just not as fast as a heat gun.
