I ordered out a new clutch quadrant, cable and adjuster from MM today. I was looking under the dash and was wondering what the easiest way is to replace the quadrant? Do I need to remove the entire pedal assembly? I'll probably remove the driver's seat to give me a little more room. Any helpful hints appreciated!

Thanks,

Matt

just lean the seat all the way back, lay upside down in the car and take a pair of pliers and a flat blade screw driver w/ you. its easiest if you disconnect the cable from the trans first. overall its a 45 min job.
there's a good adjustment video on youtube where the guy shows you how to use a dime between the adjuster and the cable stop to set the tension. I had to put a little loctite on the cable jam nut to keep it from backing off.

its a pain in the ass (litterally... sitting in the awkward positions required is a pain in the ass) but you dont have to remove the pedal assembly.

MM has good installation instructions. just read them before you get started.

also, would like to see youtube link.
