The city of chicago sucks a$$. My ******* cobra r rim is ruined because of some damn pot holes you cant see because of the freaking snow and slush around. Hit like 6 damn pot hole right after each other and felt like i was on an airplane during tuberlance.

Im so ******* pissed than as i was checking my tire my damn girlfriend started playing games and locked me outside the car so soon as i got back in i told her to get out and just go into work early as we usually sit in the car till its time for her to clock in almost. (was taking her to work)

So, i had to change my freaking ******* tire in a unplowed parking lot with alot of water and slush which wasnt fun. My hands are still cold as f**k and i was running out of gas, so i had to get some gas also. So, i make it home and since im broke im going to put my stocker 245 back on but its out of air from sitting in my cold garage. So, i pull out my handy portable air pump which to my surprise doesnt ******* work! So, now i have a donut on my car with noway to buy another cobra R rim unless i use a damn credit card i cant pay back in full. Not to mention on the way home after changing to the donut i hit about 5 more big ass pot holes.

Wow, you just dont know how much i hate the city streets. Wish i could go back to the burbs i didnt have so many tire problems. The tire place knows me by name now i since i go there so much. Problems ranging from nails and screws in my tires from the city streets to bad luck of just loosing air for no damn good reason. DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
The rim is bent and if i hit another pot hole than its going to open up wider and that rim is going to be garabe so im driving on borrowed time with this rim. Also, my sidewall popped so i have to get a new tire also. I have two spare 275 tires in my garage from when i switched them for 245's for the front of my car. The only problem is the tread is about gone so im going to be driving on no treads on one tire. GOD!!!

I feel your pain. Potholes are bad here in PA but the grooves in the roads are terrible. I was just driving along today and bam, hit these groves and hit my catilytic converter HARD. If you haven't scraped your exhaust doing 40 it's not a good sound. :wall:

How bad would it be to drive with an 245 on the back end of my car?

The front of my car has (2) 245's

the back of my car has (1) 275 and going to be (1) 245 till i get this fixed. Guess ill have to drive like a granny because it seems traction would be funky.

I'm sorry. :crying:

And tire warranties ftw. I've had 2 screws removed, and 1 tire completely replaced because of an un-removeable screw, under warranty. Tire Rack ftw, as far as warranties are concerned.

ditch the 245 idea :/ Ill be driving around with the damn donut till tomorrow afternoon :wall:

My stocker 245 is not holding air because of the bend on the rim. Remember i got rid of my stockers because of all 4 being bent from pot holes. 2 of the 4 rims i thought was still driveable on but i guess this rim/tire is not driveable. The other tires/rim in my garage arent mounted and there no place open @ 8-9pm that could mount my 275 back on a good rubber. Imma pray my cobra r still holds air at this bend, but its looking ugly.

Damn it !

I've never had a flat *knock on wood*

the thing i've gotten the most pissed about was curbing it once in the snow. I'd probably go shit on the mayors doorstep while demanding a new tire/rim. of course most of the time you can't really get teh city to pay for it. One of my friends cars got hit with snow from a snow plow and dented his whole hood, roof and completely crushed his windshield, they refused to pay for it because he couldn't prove it and he filed it the next day which was "too late"

good luck with everything, I hope it goes well

Yoiks, I thought our roads were bad. Potholes are the worst. Tire shops love 'em. They make a lot of dough doing wheel alignments and selling more wheels and tires. Sounds like you are really in the dumpster, there Twista. Better days ahead.

You run your good wheels year round in Illinois???????? :nonono:

Oh and hate to be the source of bad news but Cook County won't be paying for any new wheels or tires.
