Do you have to drill holes or does it mount to existing holes?

You have to drill, took me about an hour but I am pretty anal about lining things up then drilling once. Hold it up with lots of duct tape then start in the middle and work out...

dont use the stupid "christmas tree" plastic clips they give you, they'll just fall out. go to a hardware store and get 1/4-20 x 1/2" bolts and some matching wing nuts and use that to fasten it.

its fairly easy with two people. Line it up drill holes, put in bolts. With one person, get a roll of duct tape to make up for the lack or hands.

Threads like this are good for this sort of information. I'm still debating getting one because I'm so low, I'm not sure how long it will last... :tongue3:

G, the one I had on my 99 cobra was VERY low. Only issue I had was making sure I didnt pull up too close to curbs when parking.

in the course of about 8 months, the one i had on my previous car, had been ripped off at least 2 or 3 times, and eventhough it got a bit scuffed on the bottom, it was very durable, and from any more than about 5ft away, you dont even notice any of the scrape marks that you may get from hitting a curb or a parking block.

I try to stay back from parking blocks and curbs but sometimes just pulling into or out of a plaza can be a real challenge. I've learned not to mind the fact that I crawl through them eventhough those behind me can fly through them. I don't care... I look damn good and when I'm out on a flat surface, I'm nasty fast...!

The first thing I did was go out a driveway and thought I ripped it off...NO DAMAGE.

It must bend under but shows no scuff marks.

Trust me... I know how low I am. When I installed my KB with IC... the first day out I almost ripped the intercooler off. Expensive lesson. I moved it up higher in my front end with some refab...

It's what we do...
