Hi, I'm looking to purchase 2 BF goodrich 295/35 18's for my rear 18x10 rims. My car is lowered with the eibach pro-kit and I have the magnaflow Magnapack catback. Will I be able to squeeze the 295's back there without much modification or should I drop down to the 285's? Thanks

That's the size i'm running, I removed the quad shocks (not sure if i HAD to though) and had to move one of my tailpipes over but other than that they fit perfecto.

I have 285s, and I am very close to rubbing, so I would imagine you will need to do what Onyx said.

I removed the quad shocks and associated hardware, and they bolted right up. I tried with them on, and they wouldnt fit. the inside of the wheel well rubbed some, but that was an easy fix too.

Would putting a 295 on a 18x10.5 create any clearance problems or is it the same as 18x10

Same Same, really. its when you go to 315 or bigger that you gotta do work.

If I did go with the 295's, couldn't I just get wheel spacers and space out the rear? Or would I need to space the wheels out so much that the tires would be sticking too far out of the fender wells? I don't think I want to do anything with the quad shocks, so Im just thinking of some alternatives.... Thanks again

hmm, never thought of it. I think the spacer would end up spacing it out too far, and destroying wheel bearings at the same time. the quad shocks are there because they are supposed to dampen the flex of the lower control arm, where the control arm is flexing, and the quad shock keeps them from setting up an ocillation, much like a shock and spring in a traditional suspension. when you go with stronger control arms, they are no longer needed.
