Very simple, very easy. I got mine on ebay for about that price shipped. You do not have to remove the dash pad.

thats the best news ive heard all day! doesnt say much for my day tho lol

Easy. You just pop the clock out by lifting up and unplug it. There is a sandwich plate that goes on the top and bottom of the dash that you bolt together. slide the pod over the stud and and push it back and done. FYI you can tap into the clock pod for 12v and headlight switch and dimmer.

Haha, good. The toughest part was trying to feed my oil pres/water temp lines up there!
