Smoother and quicker clutch engagement and release. Also (according to most) a broken steeda clutch cable in a few months. Most will tell you anything other than stock will break in no time flat. I've had zero issues for over 2 years now with my aftermarket cable though so don't let the man get you down....just don't throw the stock one away

Have you heard of fiona or whatever quadrant? and micro "Click" adjuster? people say this set up is the best. I again highly doubt it since these parts are almost like a trend :wall:

I also have ford racing(steeda) set up in my car. I must say it's better then stock. but that's about it. And again. I don't know how people snap these cables. I had mine for over 3 years...Weird isn't it?

May be people who broke theirs installed it too tight without adjusting them properly... so when you press in the clutch all the way it poped. Who knows...

But my clutch engagement is easier. Maybe it's just a brain game... To me it feels better :)

Just installed the Fiore Quadrant and Micro Click Firewall adjuster.

Its a mod i <3 100%...i wish i did it earlier.

You will feel a quicker clutch response. You can set the clutch to connect wherever you please.

DITCH THE STEEDA CABLE ASAP!!! It will break By a OEM ford cable and Mod it.

Also Pick up a LDC Clutch Freeplay Mod. when you remove the factory clutch quadrant you get some dead freeplay in the pedal....this will eliminate that dead spot.

God dam it. I just researched the fiore quadrant. It's the same dam thing as double hook. instead it has 90* one hook. it's the same god dam thing. and adjuster is no different either. It just makes clicking sound. That's it. I may agree on steeda cable snapping so keep your stock OEM one just in case but people just throwing away the quadrant and buying this new style are crazy talk!

To steeda owners: move your clutch cable point to second hook towards the firewall. Now you have fiore quadrant. and everytime you adjust the firewall adjuster make a clicking noise. Now you have fiore adjuster.

It's like these people are trying to reinvent the wheel. No matter how hard you try it's still going to be ROUND.

Hollywood stang, the Fiore Adjuster set the standard for everything. Everone copied the Fiore Micro click. IDK about the Steeda adjuster but the Fiore does not require a set screw, it just clicks in place so you can adjust it anytime without the lame alan wrenchs.

Where can you get one for 94-95? The only one I found was for 96-04. Are they the same? Do you have a link?

Did you have some info on that dead spot mod?

I've put everything on and it feels 100 times better than before. i just don't know if I've got it adjusted right. I know everyone is different but does anyone have some pointers on adjusting? I'm just looking for some opinions.

i adjusted mine to engage at the top right away. i don't have any dead space at the top at all but i still have a habit of pushing the clutch all the way to the floor on the street anyway

OMG IT CLICKS!!!!!!!111!11 STOP THE PRESSES!!! Yeah the fiore is a nice piece but its a clutch adjuster...big damn deal. It doesn't feel any damn different that anyone elses firewall adjusters. The quadrant...maybe...but an adjuster is an adjuster. I've got a UPR setup and the adjuster uses the double locking knurled rings (No need for ALLEN keys) to adjust it with my hand...BUT it doesn't click, so I think I'm going to melt it down and turn it into a knife so I can fall face first on it b/c I did't buy a Fiore...

I run a UPR adjustable clutch cable/quadrant. The stock plastic one sucks big time. I have had mine for about 3 months and had to break the cable in and re-adjust it 2 weeks after the install, but I have engaging at the middle roughly, before with the old cable and quadrant it was engaging even when I had the pedal fully depressed. IMO, ANY cable/quadrant is better than the stock junky plastic one...

I've never seen a quadrant that works better than the stock one. If you don't have a pressure plate with he-man force on it, the stocker works brilliantly and adjust itself.

Oh, and a firewall adjuster is a firewall adjuster.

I've used both stock and aftermarket cables and had good luck with both.

Paul.

you guys need to get over this "broken aftermarket cable" bullshit..

the reason aftermarket cables break is because the quadrant kits are not designed correctly, and the aftermarket cables are longer than the OEM ones...

The problem with the quadrant is that it mounts loosely on the pedal assembly and is allowed to move around quite a bit. If you take the time to shim the quadrant properly, you wont have ANY broken cable issues!

FWIW... my "aftermarket" cable lasted 2 years before I discovered why they break... and I have since fixed the issue. I doubt i will be buying another cable ANY time soon!
