Clutch Pedal Extension?

So I was on facebook and someone from my friends list posted about being close to the wheel to push the clutch in and out.. I was like shit, me too! I'm pretty far up, can't have my arm extended either, and I'm pretty close to the airbag. Anyone use this clutch pedal extension like the one in the link below? If I get this extension, how does it affect pushing the clutch pedal in? Same thing but basically there's a spacer now so you can sit further back? Does the put more wear on the clutch or is it the same as it was originally just extended pedal reach? I really don't like sitting basically on the airbag..
