the pilot bearing on my trans gave up, and as a result the clutch now has trans fluid on it. its a spec stage 2 and and i know its full kevlar. i have a new trans ready to go in, but my question is, do i have to buy a new clutch, or will the kevlar not have obsorbed the fluid?

I'm not following what does your pilot bearing have to do with trans fluid on your clutch? I think you have a deeper problem then the pilot bearing. The pilot bearing rides in the crank.

the trans leaked fluid on the clutch... is the clutch reusable or not?...

I would call the manufacture of said clutch or a trans shop and see what they think, sorry I can't be more help.

Spray the hell out of it with brake clean and then put it back together, and I agree, don't say your pilot bearing went out and sprayed fluid all over it. Your kinerder valve does that, silly.

my bad involving the pilot bearing leaking trans fluid...

i already emailed spec, and they said to try it and see what happens, and if it slips to send the clutch plate to them to be resurfaced

It won't slip, clean that bitch with as much brake clean as you can afford to spray on it and not get the epa at your doorstep. Good luck and you should have no issues at all if you clean it well.
