clutch questions

I got a spec clutch out of a buddy's 96 gt. will it work in my 95 with my T5? it all looks the same except for the opening in the preasure plate is smaller than the one on my stock clutch. spec has the same part numbers numbers listed for both cars. would I have to run a different throw out bearing? it's a spec stage 3 clutch

It was in the car for about 500 miles. his wife had problems pushing in the clutch so he pulled it out.
