ok so since i havent figured out exactly what im gonn do this tax season,i thought i would through this out there and see what you guys think.
heres the link to a motor that is about what i was looking at building.

http://www.coasthigh.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=11884%2DPS%2DF4%2E6L%2DLB&Show=TechSpecs

i was thinking of going n/a.i would prefer it compared to a blower with the millage.the set up i was thinking of has the same short block, possibly the new trick flow heads or some stage 3 fox lake heads, with anderson n-51 cams, with a compression ratio of 11.5:1.and a port matched pi intake or possibly the trick flow unit.i want 375 + to the ground.and yes i know its gonna cost a pretty pennie to do,but i think this motor setup should get me there.also am planning on using n2o.thats the other reason for forged and high comp.so what do you guys think?
thanks joe

Nice set-up. Too much compression for the street though. Anything over 10:1 is gonna be hard to deal with.

im not expecting to make more power than any one has, granted i dont know what the most n/a power some one has made with a 2 valve.i would guess around 500hp at the flywheel isint comon but im sure it has been done a few times.i guess i should say i want around 375 rwhp not 375+ rwhp.i want to take out my buddies 2001 ls1 catfish.his car is making 350hp and 360tourqe,i now i wont make more tourqe due to the displacement.but as long as i beat him by a fender i will be happy.and i want to try doing that n/a,and the n2o would be for when he gets around to h/c/i
thanks joe

well now after reading the article about the 435 hp 2v i think im gonna have to wait until trickflows new heads come out or get a set from livernois.the redisigned combustion chamber sounds like it is playing a big role.
